What’s the Deal With This Blog?

Besides being the home of the marvelous writings of one absolutely fabulous SWF living in the heart of the Beehive State, this blog also follows a rather strict format. Check it out:

Mondays: Free day where Big Lare gets free reign about what she wants to write about from angering extreme liberals with her political opinions to rambling on about keeping the weekends busy enough that the laundry is never quite finished.

Tuesdays: “Quote This.” If you are lucky enough to spend much quality time with Larrie, you might get featured on this day where she shares a quote of the week. It almost always comes from one of her friends or family members and they usually don’t realize that she took note of their words to blog about later.

Wednesdays: “Cell Phone Pic of the Week.” It’s pretty self-explanatory, right? Larrie posts a picture from her cell phone. It’s not always in focus so prepare yourself. Then, YOU post a caption. It’s a contest! If you win, you get the precious, personal attention of Larrie when she tells the world about you, the winner, the next week.

Thursdays: “Therapy Thursdays.” I’m told that this one is a bit odd. But a BIT odd is good for me. If it was EXTREMELY odd, maybe I’d have to do something about it. So what is it? Well, Larrie (LRE) has an imaginary therapy session with her psychiatrist (DOC) or maybe he’s a psychologist. He hasn’t prescribed any medication (yet), nor has he tried, too, so we’re not really sure on that one yet. He’s definitely NOT a chiropractor.

Fridays: “The IT Office.” It’s all about work, but in a round about way as there are stories aplenty about bloggers who got canned due to their “free speech” online. But nobody will fire me for making fun of marketing because EVERYBODY’S DOING IT.

Saturdays: These days are rare in the blogosphere of Larrie, but every now and then, you might get lucky and catch a book review. Keep your fingers crossed.

Sundays: Day of rest because, hey, it took me six WHOLE days to create the amazing content that is my blog. Time to kick back, turn on Music and the Spoken Word and relax. Ahh.

(In the words of Hobbes’s best friend, Calvin: “Calvin, the bold, will now begin referring to himself in the third person.” Obviously, I like to do this, too, but feel that I haven’t yet earned the right to call myself Larrie THE BOLD. Maybe soon.)
